A New Finish with Viennese Elegance

The movement of the “Vienna” is masterfully finished and features our exclusive Côtes de Vienne finish, lending the mechanism a distinctive character and a truly individual aesthetic. This unique decoration is a refined homage to the Viennese Waltz, with gently sweeping lines that evoke the elegant turns and flowing motion of the dance.

Côtes de Vienne in detail

Côtes de Vienne is a finishing technique developed in-house and found exclusively in our timepieces. Inspired by the classic Côtes de Genève, known for its strictly parallel lines, the Côte de Vienne reinterprets the play of light and shadow in a new way — more fluid, more graceful, almost poetic. Both patterns are purely decorative and serve no technical function — they are an expression of fine watchmaking and artistic sophistication.

Another example of decorative finishing is the Côtes du Soleil, also known as the sunray finish. In this technique, fine lines fan outward from a central point — much like rays of sunlight. When light strikes the surface, this finishing comes to life, making the movement shimmer with remarkable brilliance.
